It was a joy to work with the good folks at Brand Society who approached me to help craft a new wordmark as part of their rebrand for Twinings Australasia.
The brief was to create a stronger, cleaner and more contemporary wordmark with greater presence, while still retaining the sophisticated nature of the brand in a premium space.
An extensive exploration was undertaken, considering all aspects of the letterforms, from serif and bracket shape, to stroke contrast and character proportions to create just the right tone and balance that retained the brand’s rich English pedigree, while bringing it up to date for a modern market.
For the final wordmark, each character was crafted and drawn with maximum precision.
