Hallé Monogram

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Manchester’s Hallé Orchestra and EDIT Brand Studio in helping to develop and craft the Hallé’s iconic H monogram as part of their recent rebrand.

First introduced in the 1960s, the sweeping ‘H’ formed part of the wordmark that evolved over many years. It has now been reworked in monogram form, a graphic device that interacts with type and images, and also captures the essence of an infinity symbol — a nod to the constant innovation at the heart of the Hallé’s enduring passion for music.
